TERRITORIAL DEFENCE FORCES RECEIVED 200 HEAVY MACHINE GUNS FROM OKKO AND "COME BACK ALIVE"

OKKO network and "COME BACK ALIVE" Foundation handed over the first batch of weapons to the units of Territorial defense - 200 heavy machine guns, that were purchased thanks to the initiative "OKO ZA OKO 2. Arm TDF to the teeth".

"Provision of the units with heavy machine guns is only the first stage within the framework of this project, the next step is 300 mortars and 100 automatic grenade launchers. The initiative is ongoing, the support with the rest of weapons is in the process - said Vasyl Danylyak, CEO of OKKO - We thank to all the customers who start using Pulls fuel brand, and it is important, that more and more customers are actively refueling their cars with it. I am sure that in the nearest future we will accumulate necessary sum and cover the urgent need of TDF forces in these types of weapons."

The project started in April 2023. Its goal is to accumulate 400 million hryvnias for purchase of 200 machine guns of 12.7 mm caliber, 300 mortars of 82 mm caliber and 100 automatic grenade launchers of 40 mm caliber. This weapon will be enough for all 31 TDF brigades, which are currently defending Ukraine. As of today, about 60% of the required amount has been collected.

"With the help of these heavy machine guns, we can hit the enemy at quite a long distance, and enemies cannot hit us," - commented the commander of the machine gun unit, callsign "Fanat" - In particular, at distance up to 800 meters, we can neutralize not only enemy infantry, but also light armored vehicles, as well as suppress firing points, enemy strongholds and hit air targets at low altitude."

"Thanks to our collaboration, Territorial defense brigades are strengthening their battlefield firepower with new weapons. It is our second joint project with OKKO, which works for victory. Together we “arm to the teeth” our territorial defense forces. And recently we reinforced our defenders with unmanned reconnaissance complexes "SHARK", commented the director of "Come back Alive" Taras Chmut.

We remind that "OKO ZA OKO" is a joint initiative of OKKO fuel station network and "COME BACK ALIVE" foundation, within the framework of which 1 hryvnia is transferred from each liter of Pulls fuel sold at all OKKO fuel stations to the needs of the Armed Forces.
