OKKO network continues to equip its filling stations with solar power plants (SPPs), which are installed on the roof of the operator's room and on the roof above the fuel dispensers. Own SPPs allow to partially compensate the needs in electricity of the filling station and save on its purchase.
Since the beginning of 2024, SPPs have been installed at 45 filling stations and the total number of such stations in the network makes now 171.
In January-May, the largest number of new SPPs was installed in Kyiv and Kyiv region - 18. Also, SPPs were installed in 8 filling stations in Lviv region, 5 in Rivne region, 4 each in Zakarpattia and Ternopil regions, and 2 each in Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk and Cherkasy regions.
In 2023, OKKO filling station network was replenished with 56 new SPPs, and in 2024 it going to invest about UAH 46 million into the installation of SPPs at 60-70 filling stations.
