Within the framework of initiative OKO ZA OKO (EYE FOR AN EYE), the first 100 million hryvnias have been accumulated aiming the purchase of modern reconnaissance complexes "SHARK" for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This joint initiative of OKKO network and "Come Back Alive" Fund started on November 1st 2022. This initiative provides that 1 hryvnia from each liter of PULLS 95/DIESEL fuel being sold in OKKO will be transferred for the purchase of reconnaissance complexes “SHARK”.
"We are grateful to our powerful community of drivers, which actively joined this initiative. We have almost 8 complexes for the Armed Forces already and our goal is to accumulate funds for 10 SHARKs by the end of this year. This will make nearly a half, but there is still much work to be done, as there are 15 more complexes. Therefore, we cannot slacken the speed — we convert the Pulse into the pulse of revenge, — commented Vasyl Danylyak, CEO of OKKO Group of companies. — We decided to contribute additionally to the project and to transfer another 5 million hryvnias on the ‘’SHARK’’ complexes."
“There’s a big need of reconnaissance complexes “SHARK” on the front line. We are deeply grateful to our partners for the joint project and we thank everyone who supports it by transferring money to our separate account "OKO ZA OKO" (EYE FOR AN EYE). Together, we are not just accumulating funds — we schematically cover the needs of aerial reconnaissance, because each complex consists of three brigade-level drones, a launcher and a specially equipped walk-through vehicle as command center," added Taras Chmut, Director of "Come Back Alive" Fund.
‘’SHARK’’ is a modern joint development of the Ukrainian company "Ukrspetssystems" and partners; complex has a number of technological advantages over analogues, and it is able to adjust effectively an artillery fire, including HIMARS salvo fire systems, and perform a number of other combat missions.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, OKKO network has assigned already more than 200 million Hryvnias to help the military, volunteers and affected regions.
OKKO company organizes free nutrition for defenders at its filling stations near the combat zones, takes part in the rebuilding of Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, buys resuscitation vehicles and cars for special forces, etc.
