In 2022, 65 fuel stations of the OKKO network used electricity for the internal needs generated by solar PV installed on the roof of these filling stations. In total, they produced 1.7 million kWh of electricity, that saved more than UAH 7 million on the purchase of energy from external sources.
Also, about 185,000 kWh of electricity OKKO network sold to the energy market on the "Green tariff".
Currently, in 11 regions of Ukraine there are operating solar stations installed at OKKO filling station. Most of them are in Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa regions and Zakarpattia region. The first - in OKKO network - roof solar power plant (SPP) appeared in 2017. It was installed at OKKO complex in Kyiv at 33, Akademika Palladina Avenue. This SPP is still considered to be one of the largest in the network. SPP has 50 kW power, and its photo modules cover the area of 325 square meters.
In 2023, OKKO plans to equip more than 40 fuel complexes with solar panels, mainly in the western regions, and on condition that the political and economic situation will be favorable, the same number of SPPs is planned to install in other regions.
