Companies of OKKO Group in January-September 2023 paid a total of UAH 10,315 billion of taxes to the budget and specialized state funds; UAH 2,821 billion of which are taxes paid from operating activities* and UAH 7,495 billion of taxes and duties on the import of goods. The total volume of taxes paid by OKKO for 9 months of 2023 is 2.4 times more than for the same period of the previous year. Hence, taxes of OKKO group made approximately 0.88% of all tax revenues to the consolidated budget of Ukraine for 9 months of 2023.
Considering the 3d quarter of 2023, OKKO Group paid UAH 4,107 billion in taxes and fees, which is 29% more than in the first quarter and 36% more than in the second quarter; including 1,007 billion taxes from operational activities, and UAH 3,100 billion are paid for imports.
If to calculate the taxes paid from operational activities per fuel station, then each OKKO station in January-September 2023 paid UAH 7,165,180 to the budget, or UAH 796.13 thousand per month. This indicator is 21% higher than in January-September 2022.
In terms of 1 liter of fuel sold, the indicator of payment of taxes on operational activities was UAH 2.52 (against UAH 2.29 per liter for 9 months of 2022). According to the results of the 3rd quarter of 2023, this indicator already amounted to UAH 2.70 for 1 liter. In terms of one employee of the company, the payment level of mandatory state pension insurance, military duty and personal income tax makes currently 9,693 hryvnias per month.
"Under conditions of confrontation with the aggressor, one of the main tasks of business is to pay taxes on time and in full. Whereas every hryvnia transferred to the budget is additional funds for strengthening the army, restoration of destroyed infrastructure, and social support of the citizens. However, in order to bring the victory closer, we are not limited in just paying taxes. OKKO has already transferred more than UAH 1.3 billion to support the Armed Forces and the reconstruction of Ukrainian infrastructure. Namely OKKO supported financially in purchase of equipment and weapons for the Armed Forces; organized free meals for our defenders in the front-line areas; supported local communities and volunteers with fuel, and participated in other different projects. And we will continue to do this until the end of a full-scale war," commented Nazar Kupybida, OKKO's vice president for finance.
*Operational taxes include income tax, VAT (except for customs duties on import), retail excise tax, personal income tax, land tax, military levy and mandatory state pension insurance levy.
