We believe that the responsible business should participate in the processes important for society. Besides the projects on road safety, our company also takes part in the initiatives aimed at supporting low-income individuals, environment protection, accessibility etc.

The environmental policy of the company is aimed at minimization of emissions and other types of air, water, and soil pollution; implementation of the practices related to saving electricity and other natural resources; formation of environmental consciousness among our employees, clients and B2B-partners.

The company has organized the collection of recyclable and reusable materials. The collection of recyclables is performed at the filling stations and the company’s warehouses and in offices. Trash sorting bins have been installed at 56 OKKO filling stations.

For 4 years, from 2018 to 2022, the branded containers for waste paper were installed at 5 filling stations in Lviv. OKKO clients could bring waste paper there, and all the money we got from selling it were transferred to the children's educational and rehabilitation centre “Dzherelo”.

During 2016-2019, the company performed the replacement of the mercury vapour lamps to LED lamps for outdoor lightning of filling stations. By doing so, the company reduced the consumption of electric energy for lightning filling stations by 60%. What is more, it is easier to recycle LED lamps, and they are more environmentally friendly.
